Canada's breadbasket western provinces often find mile-long grain trains hauling foodstuffs to ports and depots for delivery around the world. Upgraded with an Odyssey System ON/OFF switch and new separately applied grille details, a Lionel Canadian Pacific Dash 9 leads this new unit train set. Six cylindrical hoppers celebrate some of the most well-known Canadian liveries. Each hopper features die-cast metal sprung trucks with realistically rotating bearing caps. The last hopper in the train even models a flashing End-of-Train Device, the small computerized box that has replaced the caboose in modern railroading.
